Tynged
Another interesting case:
One early, mid-August Saturday morning, as one of the nicest couples in the world are off on their walk, they see what appears to be a small bunny off in the distance of the field they are walking through. As they get closer, the truth reveals it is a small puppy lying emaciated, covered in fleas and ticks, wet and cold, too weak to even lift his little 8 week old head. They immediately scoop him up and rush him home. Wrapping him in blankets to warm him up, Mr. and Mrs. Jones call the vet’s office to have the pup examined right away. All of the hearts in the hospital drop to the floor as they arrive. At first glance, the overwhelming feelings of guilt fly through the office. He is one of the saddest things anyone has ever seen. He truly was a candidate for one of those ASPCA commercials.
With a ton of love, food, and nourishment this little bunny in disguise is flourishing. In the first 5 weeks of being with his adopted family, he has gained 14 pounds and several inches in height. Ting’s new mom and dad thought long and hard about his name. Considering family background and individuality, they named him Tynged, which means “fate” in the Welsh language. As this little man has begun to settle into his new home with his new parents, crazy canine friend “Baxter”, and fuzzy feline friend “Mischief”, Mr. and Mrs. Jones start to wonder what size Ting would grow to be. The DNA results showed he is an eclectic mix of Greyhound, Boxer, Great Dane, Mastiff, and Shetland Sheepdog. A little larger than they were expecting!!! He fits in perfectly.
